Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Beat softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add powdered sugar gradually while mixing until fully combined.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and beat until light and fluffy.
  4. Spread or pipe onto cooled cakes or cupcakes.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese and butter are fully softened for a smooth frosting.
Add more powdered sugar if you want a thicker frosting.
Chill the frosting for 10–15 minutes if it becomes too soft for piping.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
