  • Eggs — 2 large 100 g
  • Milk dairy or almond milk — ¼ cup (60 ml)
  • Melted butter or coconut oil — 2 tbsp 28 g

Method

  1. Preheat the waffle maker until fully hot.

  3. Add almond flour, baking powder, and salt, then mix until a thick batter forms.
  4. Allow the batter to rest for 2–3 minutes to absorb moisture.
  5. Lightly grease the waffle maker with oil or butter.
  6. Pour batter into the waffle maker and cook for 3–5 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Carefully remove waffles and serve warm with desired toppings.

Notes

Let cooked waffles rest for 1 minute to firm up before serving.
For extra flavour, add cinnamon or chocolate chips to the batter.
Freeze leftovers and reheat in a toaster for best texture.
