Ingredients
  

  • 3 apples peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter cold and cubed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  2. Mix apples blueberries sugar lemon juice cornstarch and cinnamon in a bowl
  3. Transfer mixture into a baking dish evenly
  4. In another bowl combine flour oats brown sugar cinnamon and salt
  5. Rub in cold butter until crumbly texture forms
  6. Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over fruit
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly
  8. Let cool slightly before serving

Notes

Use cold butter for a crisp topping
Adjust sugar depending on fruit sweetness
Serve warm for best flavor
Add nuts for extra crunch if desired
