Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice pears in half lengthwise and scoop out cores.
- Place pears cut side up in a baking dish.
- Mix honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt in a small bowl.
- Drizzle mixture over pears and add butter pieces on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until tender and caramelized.
- Sprinkle with nuts or add a dollop of yogurt before serving.
Notes
- Use firm, ripe pears to prevent mushiness.
- Honey or maple syrup can be swapped with brown sugar.
- Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
- Add a splash of rum or brandy for extra decadence.
