Method
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery and sauté until soft.
- Add minced beef and cook until browned completely.
- Stir in tomato paste, canned tomatoes, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Pour in water or stock and mix well.
- Simmer on low heat for 25–35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook pasta separately until al dente and drain.
- Mix sauce with pasta or serve on top.
- Finish with Parmesan cheese before serving.
