Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and whisk continuously for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Gradually pour in beef broth while whisking to avoid lumps.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened, stirring frequently.
  6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use high-quality beef broth for the best flavor.
  • Whisk continuously to prevent lumps.
  • Add extra broth if the gravy becomes too thick.
  • For richer taste, add a splash of cream or pan drippings.
