Ingredients
  

  • 2 large grapefruits
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  2. Slice the grapefruits in half
  3. Loosen segments with a knife
  4. Place on a baking tray, cut side up
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly on top
  6. Add small dots of butter
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon and a pinch of salt
  8. Bake for 10–15 minutes until bubbly
  9. Optional broil for 2–3 minutes for caramelized top
  10. Let cool slightly and serve warm

Notes

Use ripe, juicy grapefruits for the best flavor
Do not skip preheating the oven
Broil carefully to avoid burning
Adjust sugar based on the sweetness preference
