Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla extract; whisk until combined.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until a batter forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden and center is set.
- Let cool before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep blondies soft and chewy.
- Use dark or milk chocolate chips based on preference.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
