Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract; whisk until combined.
  4. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until a batter forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden and center is set.
  8. Let cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep blondies soft and chewy.
  • Use dark or milk chocolate chips based on preference.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
