- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder then mix gently until combined.
- Fold chocolate chips into the batter.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 22 to 25 minutes until edges are set and the center remains slightly soft.
- Let brownies cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
Use high-quality cocoa powder for a deeper chocolate flavor.
Do not overbake, or brownies will turn dry instead of fudgy.
Allow brownies to cool before slicing for clean squares.
