Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a pan, melt butter and stir in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring until thick and creamy.
- Add chicken, vegetables, salt, pepper, and seasoning; mix well.
- Line a pie dish with bottom crust and pour in the filling.
- Cover with top crust, seal edges, and cut slits for steam.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until crust is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.
- Cover crust edges with foil if browning too quickly.
- Let pie rest before slicing for cleaner servings.
