Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cucumber finely chopped or sliced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint or cilantro chopped
  • 1 small garlic clove minced (optional)

Method
 

  1. Wash and chop cucumbers into small pieces or thin slices.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add salt, black pepper, and roasted cumin powder to the yogurt.
  4. Mix in chopped cucumber and stir well to combine.
  5. Add garlic and fresh herbs if using.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes for best flavor.
  7. Serve cold as a refreshing side dish.
