Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup olive oil plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 tsp dried rosemary or fresh
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp coarse sea salt for topping

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix flour and salt in a large bowl, then add yeast mixture and ¼ cup olive oil.
  3. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5–7 minutes.
  4. Cover dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Press dough into a greased baking pan and dimple the surface with fingers.
  7. Mix minced garlic with rosemary and drizzle over dough, then sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh rosemary for a more aromatic flavor.
  • Brush with extra olive oil before serving for added richness.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
