Method
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- Mix flour and salt in a large bowl, then add yeast mixture and ¼ cup olive oil.
- Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5–7 minutes.
- Cover dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Press dough into a greased baking pan and dimple the surface with fingers.
- Mix minced garlic with rosemary and drizzle over dough, then sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh rosemary for a more aromatic flavor.
- Brush with extra olive oil before serving for added richness.
- Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
