- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
- Mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the chicken.
- Arrange chicken on a baking tray, leaving space between pieces.
- Bake for 25–30 mins for breasts or 35–40 mins for thighs.
- Optional: Broil 2–3 mins for extra golden skin.
- Let rest 5–10 mins before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the tray, or the chicken will steam, not crisp.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure 165°F (74°C) internal temp.
- Can swap chicken parts, oils, or spices based on preference.
