Method
- Press a thin layer of ground beef onto one side of each tortilla
- Season the beef with salt and black pepper
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little butter or oil
- Place the tortilla beef-side down in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes
- Flip the tortilla and add cheese on top of the beef
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes until cheese melts and tortilla is golden
- Remove from pan and top with onions, lettuce, pickles, and sauce
- Fold like a taco and serve immediately
Notes
Use 80/20 beef for the juiciest results
Cook on high heat for crispy edges
Don’t overcrowd the pan while cooking
