Method
- Cook ground beef in a pan over medium heat until browned
- Add garlic and ginger and sauté until fragrant
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, and chili flakes in a bowl
- Pour the sauce over the beef and stir well
- Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes to absorb flavor
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to the pan
- Stir continuously until the sauce thickens
- Turn off the heat and add green onions and sesame seeds
- Serve hot over rice or noodles
Notes
Do not skip browning the beef for maximum flavor
Adjust chili flakes based on your spice tolerance
Add a spoonful of gochujang for a deeper Korean flavor
Use low-sodium soy sauce if preferred
