Ingredients
  

  • Salmon fillets – 2 pieces
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon zest – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic minced – 2 cloves
  • Fresh dill chopped – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – to taste
  • Lemon slices – for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Place salmon fillets on the tray and pat dry
  4. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, zest, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper
  5. Brush or pour the mixture evenly over the salmon
  6. Top with lemon slices
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily
  8. Remove from oven and serve immediately

Notes

Do not overcook the salmon to keep it juicy
Fresh dill gives the best flavor, but dried can be used
Add butter for a richer taste if desired
Serve with rice, veggies, or salad for a complete meal
Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes before serving
