Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups walnut halves
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix maple syrup, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Toss walnuts in the maple mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Spread coated walnuts on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden and fragrant.
  6. Let walnuts cool completely—they will crisp up as they cool.
  7. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
