Method
- Add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt into a microwave-safe mug and mix well
- Pour in milk, oil (or butter), and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth
- Push chocolate pieces into the center of the batter
- Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds until the top is set, but the center remains soft
- Let it cool for 1–2 minutes before eating
- Serve warm and enjoy the gooey molten center
Notes
Do not overcook, or the cake will turn dry instead of gooey
Use a large mug to prevent overflow while cooking
Add a scoop of ice cream on top for extra indulgence
