Nutella Puff Pastry Bites Recipe

These Nutella Puff Pastry Bites are flaky, golden, and filled with rich chocolate hazelnut goodness. They’re incredibly easy to make with just a few ingredients and are perfect for parties, quick desserts, or an afternoon sweet snack. Crispy on the outside and creamy inside, these bites are always a crowd favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • ½ cup Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting
  • 1 tbsp chopped hazelnuts optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into small squares.
  3. Place a small spoonful of Nutella in the center of each square.
  4. Fold or pinch the corners slightly to hold the filling inside.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.
  8. Garnish with chopped hazelnuts if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overfill with Nutella to prevent leaking while baking.
  • Serve warm for the best gooey texture.
  • You can add sliced strawberries or bananas inside for variation.
