Method
- Heat-treat the flour by microwaving it for about 1 minute to make it safe for raw consumption.
- In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Stir in the heat-treated flour and mini chocolate chips to form cookie dough.
- Scoop a small amount of dough, flatten it, and place a small spoon of Nutella in the center.
- Wrap the dough around the Nutella and roll into a ball.
- Place truffles on a tray and chill for 30 minutes until firm.
- Dip each truffle into melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper.
- Refrigerate until chocolate is fully set before serving.
Notes
- Freeze small Nutella portions beforehand for easier stuffing.
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Sprinkle with extra chocolate chips or crushed cookies for decoration.
