- In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add olive oil, flour, and salt, then mix to form a soft dough.
- Knead dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.

- Use good-quality olive oil for the best flavor.
- Brush the top with olive oil before baking for a softer crust.
- Add herbs like rosemary or garlic for extra taste.
