Ingredients

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add olive oil, flour, and salt, then mix to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased pan.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing and serving.
