Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe peaches sliced
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F)
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter
  3. Arrange sliced peaches evenly in the dish
  4. Whisk eggs and sugar until smooth
  5. Add flour salt milk vanilla and almond extract and mix well
  6. Pour batter over peaches evenly
  7. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and set
  9. Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for the best flavor
  • Do not overbake to keep the custard soft
  • Serve warm for the best texture and taste
  • You can swap peaches with cherries or berries
  • Almond extract adds depth—don’t skip if possible
