Method
- Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, heat sugar and corn syrup over medium heat until just bubbling.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
- Pour mixture over cornflakes and gently mix until coated.
- Press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
- Melt chocolate chips with butter until smooth, then spread over the top.
- Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
- Do not overheat the sugar mixture to keep the bars soft.
- Use fresh cornflakes for maximum crunch.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
