Ingredients
  

  • 500 g cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes optional
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Boil salted water and cook tortellini according to package instructions
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds
  4. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently
  5. Stir in pesto until well combined
  6. Drain tortellini and add it to the sauce
