- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray
- Mix almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
- Add hot water, olive oil, and egg, and mix until combined
- Let the dough rest for 2–3 minutes to thicken
- Divide the dough and shape it into rolls using slightly wet hands
- Place rolls on a baking tray and add sesame seeds if desired
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until firm and golden
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving
Notes
Use psyllium husk powder, not whole husk, for the best texture
Hot water is essential to activate the psyllium
Dough may look slightly purple—this is normal
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for later
