Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and brush with melted butter.
- Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Cut pastry into strips about ½ inch wide.
- Twist each strip and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- Keep puff pastry cold until ready to bake for the best puff.
- Can use brown sugar for a richer flavor.
- Serve warm for maximum flakiness.
