Puff Pastry Cinnamon Twists

These Puff Pastry Cinnamon Twists are golden, flaky, and perfectly spiced with cinnamon and sugar. Quick to make and utterly addictive, they’re an ideal snack, breakfast treat, or dessert. Crispy on the outside, tender and buttery inside!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and brush with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the pastry.
  5. Cut pastry into strips about ½ inch wide.
  6. Twist each strip and place on prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Keep puff pastry cold until ready to bake for the best puff.
  • Can use brown sugar for a richer flavor.
  • Serve warm for maximum flakiness.
