Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs or crushed cookies
  • Optional: chocolate shavings sprinkles, or mint leaves

Method
 

  1. Toss sliced strawberries with sugar and vanilla; let sit 10 minutes.
  2. Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. In a glass or jar, layer graham crumbs, strawberries, and whipped cream.
  4. Repeat layers until the glass is full.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or mint leaves.
  6. Chill 30 minutes or serve immediately.

Notes

  • Don’t overwhip the cream or it will turn to butter.
  • Use frozen berries if fresh ones aren’t available; thaw slightly first.
  • Granola or cookie crumbs work if graham crackers aren’t on hand.
  • Assemble close to serving time to avoid soggy layers.
