Method
- Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes until spongy.
- Heat cream, milk, and sugar in a pan over medium heat until sugar dissolves (do not boil).
- Remove from heat, add vanilla and bloomed gelatin, and mix until fully dissolved.
- Pour mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Cook strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice until soft and syrupy, then cool completely.
- Spoon strawberry topping over set panna cotta and serve chilled.
Notes
- Do not boil the cream mixture, or the texture may break.
- Chill time is important—don’t rush it or it won’t set properly.
- You can easily customize with other fruits like mango or blueberry.
- For a smoother finish, strain the strawberry sauce before topping.
