Method
- Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces.
- Make deep cuts in the chicken for better marination.
- Mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, oil, and spices in a bowl.
- Coat chicken thoroughly with the marinade.
- Cover and marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat (200°C).
- Place chicken on grill or baking tray.
- Cook for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Brush oil or butter while cooking for extra juiciness.
- Cook until fully done and slightly charred on edges.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and onions.
Notes
Marinate overnight for the best flavor and tenderness.
Use thick yogurt to avoid a watery marinade.
Adjust spice level according to taste.
