Method
- In a bowl mix soy sauce honey garlic ginger vinegar water and cornstarch until smooth
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat
- Place salmon fillets skin side down and cook for 4–5 minutes
- Flip salmon and cook another 3–4 minutes until golden
- Pour prepared teriyaki sauce into the pan
- Spoon sauce over salmon while it thickens for 2–3 minutes
- Remove from heat once sauce becomes glossy and sticky
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving
Notes
- Pat the salmon dry before cooking for better texture
- Do not overcook salmon to keep it juicy
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey
- Use low sodium soy sauce if preferred
- Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture
