Ingredients
  

  • Ladyfinger biscuits
  • Strong brewed coffee cooled
  • Mascarpone cheese
  • Heavy cream
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder
  • Chocolate shavings optional

Method
 

  1. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form
  2. Mix the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl
  3. Fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until smooth
  4. Dip ladyfingers quickly into cooled coffee
  5. Layer dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of serving cups
  6. Add a layer of cream mixture over the biscuits
  7. Repeat layers until cups are filled
  8. Dust cocoa powder on top
  9. Add chocolate shavings if desired
  10. Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours before serving

Notes

Do not soak ladyfingers too long, or they will become soggy
Use strong coffee for a richer flavor
Chilling improves taste and texture significantly
You can add coffee liqueur for an adult version
Best served cold for the perfect creamy consistency
